In this era of Instagram and Snapchat, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that ‘a picture with the right caption is worth a thousand words.’ Instagram captions are important and they are as important as the visual elements of your post. Though Instagram gives you 2,200 characters to dabble with, it would be naive to think that your followers will read through the whole caption. Most just prefer to read a caption which is short and crisp. And if you were to ask me, coming up with great captions every day can be really, really hard. So, what do you do in moments such as these? Say hi to third-party Instagram captions apps. In this post today, we have compiled six such apps for both Android and iOS, which will help you find great captions for your Insta post in a jiffy.
1. Captions For Instagram (Android)
Captions For Instagram is a simple app which has hundreds of captions and quotes for different moods and events. The good thing about this app is that the captions are neatly categorized and it’s super easy to find one. Plus, the stored captions are great with a couple of quotes by famous personalities. All you need to do is tap on the one you like and hit the Copy icon. That’s it! The only issue with this app is that it doesn’t have a search button, so you’d have to scroll through a particular section until you find the one you are looking for. On the bright side, you end up discovering new sayings which you can incorporate into future Instagram posts. Download Captions For Instagram
2. Captions for Instagram and Facebook Photos (Android)
The next app on our list is Captions for Instagram and Facebook Photos (quite a mouthful, I tell you). Unlike the above app, this one lets you search through its database with a keyword. The captions are mostly user-generated though and lack the quality that one would find in the first app. Another good thing about this app is that each caption has a few related tags at the bottom to refine the search. However, you can also make use of the Categories tab to get down to your business quickly. Selecting the texts is easy, just tap on the tiny Copy icon and paste the same on your Instagram post. 3. Captions for Instagram (Android)
It seems funny that some apps have almost the same name on the Play Store. Why the observation? Well, the third app on our list has the exact same name as the first one! Captions for Instagram is a straightforward app with a bunch of quotes arranged in different categories such as Cute, Song, etc. The captions are simple, however, you’ll have to put the emoticons yourself. Copying texts in this one is an easy job. Just tap on the quote you like and that’s it. There are a couple of ads that pop up in between. This problem, thankfully, doesn’t exist in the above two apps. Download Captions for Instagram
4. Insta Caption (iOS)
If you are searching for actual quotes from entrepreneurs and authors, I reckon you to give the Insta Caption app a shot. This app has countless captions arranged in a well-organized library. Say you are on a lookout for a food-related quote, you’d actually have to specify whether the quote you are looking for is related to breakfast or dinner. Once you have selected the same, the filtered results would be presented to you. Insta Caption has a bunch of song quotes as well. So, if you’re one who loves to share music related posts, this app is your best bet. Download Insta Caption
5. InstaCap (iOS)
InstaCap is more about short and crisp captions, rather than the brainy quotes that we saw in the above app. Though the archive is huge, the interface is a tad complicated to use. Unlike other apps, it doesn’t have a left menu with the categories. Instead, the categories are under the tiny arrow on the upper-right corner. All you have to do is tap on the Arrow icon, select the category and tap on the icon again (to close the menu). However, once that’s done, it’s pretty straightforward from there. Just tap on the copy icon and that’s it! Download InstaCap
6. Rubric (iOS)
The above apps, either for iOS or Android, need you to manually hunt for the right caption and then put it on Instagram. Rubric stands out starkly in this group since it uses visual recognition technology and machine learning to generate relevant captions for your photos automatically. All you need to do is open the picture through the app and Rubric will display all the relevant captions. What’s more, you can select from short witty phrases to famous celebrity quotes. Hopefully, a similar app comes soon to the Play Store. C Download Rubric
