If you are someone like me, who scours the Play Store grounds in search of new games, we have some amazing news for you. We at Guiding Tech have compiled a list of the new and free Android games which were launched in the last couple of months. Whether you’re a fan of high-speed racing or love casual games, we are pretty sure you’ll find a host of amazing games here.

1. Asphalt 9: Legends

Few games need a proper introduction while others need just a tiny note about what the game is all about. Then, there are games like Asphalt 9: Legends which need no introduction at all — the name speaks for itself. The latest version of Asphalt mixes the necessary ingredients of a racing game accurately. Not only do you have more content but you also get more configurable options. Touch Drive control system is a new feature. So, instead of tilt controls, you’d have two touchscreen controls on either side of the car to properly maneuver your car through highways and around corners. Asphalt 9 is not yet available on the Play Store. However, we have a nifty little trick in store for you. All you have to do is follow the steps below and the game will be on your phone in just a while.

Steps to Install Asphalt 9: Legends

Step 1: Download the contents of this link. Once done, extract the contents of the ZIP file. Step 2: Copy the folder named com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA9HM to your phone and paste it under SD/Android/Obb/ Step 3: Install the APK file which is a part of the above files. Step 4: Install a VPN app (like Express VPN) and select the Philippine server. Having done that, just open the game and enjoy!!

2. Dragon Ball Legends

Ahoy Dragon Ball fans, here’s the game for which we all have been waiting forever (at least so it seemed!). Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Legends brings the magic of the Dragon Balls characters to your mobile, that too with all pomp and show. You can expect gorgeous graphics, simplistic and swift controls and above all, a well laid-out theme. Unlike a majority of the fighting games, Dragon Ball Legends adopts the portrait aspect of your mobile phone and a simple card-based combat system. Though the game presents a delightful play, the game itself is quite heavy. So, I’d recommend you to download the game files only when you’re connected to an uncapped Wi-Fi connection. 3. CrossFire: Legends

CrossFire: Legends is the new first-person shooter games to join the leagues of popular games like PUBG and Fortnite. CrossFire for Android is complete with beautiful visuals and more importantly, solid game control. It uses dual joysticks for that matter. The left pad controls the movement while the right one takes control of the shooting and aiming part. Depending on your expertise, you can opt for either the PVP mode or the Battle Royale mode. If you love FPS games, CrossFire: Legends should be at the top of the list this month. Download CrossFire: Legends

4. Deploy and Destroy: Ash vs ED

Seems the gaming world has a strange fascination for the apocalypse and the Deploy and Destroy follows the same theme. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in Divergent, here you’d have to don the role of Ash (from the Evil Dead TV series) and shoot your way through your enemies. Deploy and Destroy is a first-person shooter game with good graphics and control. Typical to most of the shooting games, you can upgrade the looks of your character and upgrade the weapon as you move up the ladder. Download Deploy and Destroy: Ash vs ED

5. MMX Hill Dash 2

Love monster trucks? If yes, you’ll certainly love MMX Hill Dash 2. In this game, you’ll have to get behind the wheel of these massive trucks and race to the finish line. The game is not mere a racing game, it involves a lot of physics too. What’s more interesting about this game is that you’d have to keep an eye on the fuel tank as well. Unless you reach the fuel tank on time, the truck goes kaput! A fun and addictive game, this is perfect to pass your time while you’re, say, waiting for your doctor’s appointment or traveling alone. Download MMX Hill Dash 2

6. Major Mayhem 2

If the popularity of Major Mayhem part 1 was not enough to persuade you to try the game, the spot-on graphics of Major Mayhem 2 will do the rest of the persuasion. For those who are unaware, Major Mayhem 2 is a side-scrolling shooter game with plenty of shooting, running and of course, blasting your way through the scores of villains. Major Mayhem 2 is a great time-waster. If I were you, I would aim for the head of the enemy, that kills them quickly, you see. Download Major Mayhem 2

7. Stickman Soccer 2018

Stickman Soccer 2018 is the successor to the popular Stickman Soccer. Experience an almost-similar gameplay, however, with a tiny difference. Instead of the popular football players, you’ll have tiny cute stickmen playing in their place! The controls are easy. The direction is controlled through the left button while the action of the player is through the sprint button on the right. As I said above, you’ll find plenty of similar elements such as gameplay features like yellow/red cards, slow-motion replays, overhead kicks, free kicks, etc. With football fever about to grip the world soon, Stickman Soccer would be a great place to start the game! 8. I’m Ping Pong King

Time for a cool and casual game. If you happen to love games with no real purpose of a finish line, you should give I’m Ping Pong King (yeah, that’s the name!) a shot. This is a no-brainer game with simple controls. All you need to do is hit the ball at the right time (and on the right side) and you’ll slowly inch up the ladder. If you ask me, many of the times a simple game with no real purpose is all we need to pass the time. As long as we keep winning, it doesn’t hurt us, right? Download I’m Ping Pong King

9. Corennity: Space Wars

Ever wondered how it would feel to roam around the vast expanse of space? Say Hi to Corennity. It’s a fast-paced space game where you man a spaceship named Corennity as she makes her way to rescue humanity. From collecting energy lobs and fighting epic bosses to spotting Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster floating around in space — you’ve got to do a lot in this game. The graphics are amazing, which I really loved, and more importantly, the game is completely ad-free, at least for now. Download Corennity: Space Wars

10. Lego Ninjago: Ride Ninja

What happens when a trained Ninja goes to the racing track? Well, you get a wonderful concoction called Lego Ninjago. Lego Ninjago is a racing game where not only you get to wield a sword, you also get to join high-speed racing. All you have to do is put on your helmet, start your bike and … grab your swords and fighting props and get ready for the race of a lifetime. The gameplay is cool and the controls are pretty easy to master. Similar to Asphalt 8, you’d need to tilt the phone to swerve around the corners and turnings, while a mere tap or swipe will let the Ninja do his fighting tricks. Download Lego Ninjago

Rock-n-Roll

With the release of the above interesting and addictive games, it seems that May 2018 was the month for gamers. So which of these will you play first? If you were to ask me, Major Mayhem 2 has eaten up a significant amount of my time ever since its release!
