Before we proceed make sure your phone is unlocked and you have the interim CWM recovery running as the device’s default recovery. Also you must have the HTC drivers installed on your computer. All you need to do is download the latest CMW and flash it to your phone from the downloader. Generally, you would have to write down commands in Command Prompt to flash the file. After the success message you can reboot into recovery to check. If it shows version 5.8.4.0 at the bottom, the flashing was done successfully. You can now charge your mobile in recovery and mount the internal storage space directly to transfer files. If you are on a custom ROM, you might have to flash the ROMs Boot.img file again.
