How To Jailbreak Your iOS Device Running iOS 7 or Higher

Step 1: First, you will have to download the evasi0n jailbreak tool for your Mac or PC from the developers’ website. Once downloaded, install it on your computer. Step 2: Of course, if you plan on going forward, you should always backup your iPhone or other iOS device beforehand. This allows you to restore your device to its former settings in case things don’t go as planned. Step 3: Disable the lock passcode of your iOS device, since this might cause issues when jailbreaking it. Once the jailbreak is done, you can re-enable it. In similar fashion, if you use a password to protect your iOS device backups on iTunes, you should also disable that feature and create a new backup that way. Step 4: Now that everything’s ready, open the evasi0n7 app and then plug your iOS device to your Mac or PC. The app will recognize it. Once it does, click on the Jailbreak button for the process to start. Step 5: Shortly after it does, you will notice the evasi0n7 icon on your iPhone’s screen. Just let it be for a while. If any instructions show on the evasi0n7 app window, follow them (like unlocking your iPhone’s screen or tapping the evasi0n7 icon for example). Otherwise, your iOS device will reboot after a few minutes. Step 6: In some cases that’s all there is. But sometimes the process will finish and you will still see the evasi0n7 icon there. In that case, just tap on it and after a while your device will reboot and the Cydia icon will finally be available after it does. Step 7: The last step is to open Cydia for the first time, which will cause your iOS device to perform one last reboot. After that, Cydia will be ready to use, indicating that your jailbreaking process has been successful. And that’s about it. Now you can some good times tweaking your iOS device with everything that Cydia has to offer.
