It takes 2 hours for the case to charge completely, as per the folks at Sound Guys. That is quite reasonable given the long battery life. Other than that, these earphones come with aptX over Bluetooth 5.0. The sound output is equally great with good quality and clarity. Plus, both the earbuds have their own set of microphones, meaning clearer phone conversations. Last but not least, they are IPX5 certified and are compatible with Siri and Google Assistant. 2. Apple AirPods (2019) (20 Hours)
If you have a wireless charging pad, you can juice up the case without having to bother about wires and charging cables. On the downside, the lack of silicone ear tips may cause the earphones not to fit properly. Apart from that, the sound output is detailed and balanced. But if you are someone who loves a deep punch and bass on their earphones, do go for a trail run (if possible) before buying it. The Apple AirPods (2019) starts at $159.
3. Powerbeats Pro (9 Hours)
When it comes to the battery, the Powerbeats Pro packs up to 9 hours of battery on a single charge. With the charging case, you can expect up to 24 hours of listening time in total. But unlike the AirPods these do not come with wireless charging. Also, due to the better fit, the audio naturally sounds better. These are a bit on the expensive side at $249.95.
4. OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 (14 Hours)
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 offers a bunch of good features. For instance, you’ll find both Bluetooth 5.0 and aptxHD. Plus, battery life of around 14 hours (on moderate volumes) makes sure that they will last you a good two days. The cherry on the cake is the company’s proprietary charging standard – Warp Charge 30. And if that’s not enough, a 10-minute charge will get you 10 hours of playback time. I have been using the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 since their launch, and can safely say that they work as advertised. The sound quality is up to the mark (for the price) with deep bass. Again, the fit is comfortable, and they manage to stay put even during rigorous exercises. You have to make sure that you are wearing the right fit. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 cost $99.
5. Jabra Elite 65t (15 Hours)
If you can live with that interruption, then yeah, you can consider them as your next earbuds. The sound quality of the Elite 65t is quite decent. We liked the deep punch that these wireless earbuds provide. Moreover, we also liked the fit. Unlike the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2, these come with a companion app in tow, the Jabra Sound + app. The app has a slew of features such as a built-in Equalizer, HearThrough, and Soundscapes. Also, if you happen to have misplaced them, you can find them easily with the Find My Earbuds feature. What’s more, the auto-pause feature of the Elite 65t makes sure to pauses the music when you take off the earbuds.
Leave the Charging Cable at Home
With most earphones shunning the wire, battery life has surely gone for a toss. You won’t get the pleasure of playing for 12-13 hours without worrying about charging them up. Today, the max you can get is around 7-8 hours. Thankfully, the charging case is there to back you up. Or in other instances, you have ridiculously fast charging to bridge the gap.
