Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi follows the incredible journey of characters from the original trilogy with some new faces like Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and picks up from the same cliff on the island of Ahch-To, where The Force Awakens had ended. However, it’s too early to shed light on the plot, thanks to the discipline Disney has over plot reveals and character secrets.

Did you know that Johnson used real-world locations for The Last Jedi to match the incredible scenes of the Star Wars universe. For instance, Dubrovnik in Croatia has been shown to be Canto Bight while the surreal Salt Flats of Bolivia became Crait.
9. The Princess
The Last Jedi is the final Star Wars movie where Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia Organa, appears before her death. The movie supposedly ends with the message, “In loving memory of our princess, Carrie Fisher”.
10. Divided by Ideals
Did you know that the last Star Wars movie – Star Wars: The Force Awakens – was the highest-grossing film on American soil for that year and the The Last Jedi is expected to exceed that.
